How do I choose my role?

Arnaud

πŸ’‘ Before you choosing a role from a text, the text must first have been imported into your personal space or a company you have access to. This play can be from the Imparato Library, or that you have imported.

  • Sign in to the Imparato website if you have not already done so
  • Click on the title of the play concerned
  • In the bottom bar, click on Roles.
  • On your character's line, click on Select... then choose your name from the list
  • You can assign yourself multiple roles, or manage the distribution of other actors in the Company
  • Close the interface of the roles by clicking on the cross at the top left
  • Your lines are highlighted

⚠️ If you don't see any roles listed, it's probably because your play needs formatting so that we can identify the characters. See How to edit a play to do this formatting manually.
